So, the White House has abandoned the search for those elusive WMD's. How charming. Well, I suppose it's SAFE to do so now that the ELECTION'S OVER! Their strategies are so cunning and so vicious, and most are too ignorant to see through it.
I'm sure this is just wishful thinking at best, but it is my sincere hope that SOMETHING will happen over these next 4 years that will get Bush into DEEP SHIT. That he'll meet his Watergate.
Of course, one may argue that if it hasn't happened already it's not going to, because we live in 1984 world, where a lie becomes the truth if it's repeated often enough. It's just like Bill Clinton told Howard Dean: the American people will choose someone who is strong and wrong over someone who is weak and right.
Even though things are going pretty well overall in MY little world, I'm feeling rather angsty (and powerless) about the Big Picture. How can one NOT?!
