Ever go back to work after a vacation or long weekend, and the day you had almost made the time off not worth it?!
I've only been on this new job for about 3 weeks (not counting all the time off for the Holidays), and I'm still dealing with the learning curve! On a positive note, I suppose you could say I'm being challenged and stretched daily. But dammit, just when I think I'm finally getting a pretty good handle on things, I get thrown a big-ass curveball! That's life, I'm afraid. What can ya do?
One thing I am determined to do this year is TAKE A PROPER VACATION! Last summer was awful. We couldn't have needed to get away more, but the money was so tight even a quick weekend road trip was out of the question. We're thinking of going to Toronto the last weekend of June for Pride...
