On Sunday, just for shits & giggles, I moseyed on over to the Apple Store at Easton, with my pink iPod mini. It failed its battery test (no surprises there, it only held a charge for about 2 hours), and the warranty expired in August. 
However, they were able to hook me up with a refurbished unit, good as new, for just $59!
Sure beats the hell out of forking over at least $200 for a Nano, wonderful though they are. I was really impressed because I'd heard so many horror stories about it taking weeks to get an iPod battery replaced, and then it being so costly you might as well buy a new iPod! If that's true, then they've come a long way with improving their service levels! Trees2112 and I look forward to buying a computer from there when we get our bonuses at the first of the year.
I'm also afraid I might be developing carpal tunnel. The other day I woke up with a little bone spur on my left wrist, like "WHOA, where the hell did that come from?!"
And it kinda hurts! Could be from excessive computer use, could be from excessive wanking... Anyway, I googled CTS to see what the symptoms were, and I do have some of them. I'll try the recommended home remedies for 2 weeks, and if that doesn't help, off to see the doc!
