*update* My pooooor great dane had to be taken to the vet today... she was vomiting, and had really bad bloody diareah (sorry for the details)... kept goitng and going.. and then straining with nothing coming out.....
I brought her to the emergency hospital.. she was really dehydrated, has acute gastro enteritis(sp?)... they need to keep her on IV fluids and antibiotics over night.. running more tests... her glucose levels were elevated... a sign she might have Addisons, which I hear is real bad... if the gas in her stomach gets worse she could develop bloat....
I hate not having her home... I'm so worried.....
