last week i held a dead man's human heart in my hands.

seriously.

from the looks of it he died of a massive coronary...all the arteries surrounding the heart were so clogged with calcium deposits they might as well have been filled with concrete (we couldn't even get a probe into a single artery). i have started checking food labels obsessive compulsively for cholesterol content, as both of my parents have had heart attacks. by the end of gross anatomy, after looking at the liver, the kidneys, etc. i should be on a lettuce-only diet.

this upcoming friday i'm looking to make a guerilla attack on an old friend who started ignoring all of us (her old friends) as soon as she got pregnant. i have a feeling she's been busy but also is somewhat embarassed that she got knocked up, subconsciously. she has failed to return calls and emails for over a year and the baby's already like half a year old. well damnit i am going to be a part of that baby's life if she wants it or not. i made arrangements with another of her friends to show up on her doorstep. any ideas for baby presents?
