change never happens gradually for me. suddenly I'm from one extreme to another. I guess I prefer it that way, especially since I'm in a sort of "change for the better mode", I've made some pretty big decisions lately... I guess I'll find out soon if they were the right ones.

Going to Artica tonight. It's a big art co-op event that inhabits a run down industrial part of the city for a weekend. It's like a mini urban burning man kind of thing. So, I'm guessing we'll have some people painted colors and people playing with fire and kids trying to look strung out and old "wish I'd made it to New York in the eighties" guys. No doubt there will also be some extreme artsy feminist "installations", like walking through a plastic tunnel plastered with tampons dipped in red paint or something like that.
Maybe, I'll just stay home and hang out with Homestar Runner and Stronbad.

Actually, although art gatherings and band scenes can get ultra pretensious, there is still always the spirit or the soul or whatever you want to call it. The vibe is always there. looking past my jaded side I do get inspired by the fact that people are out there trying to exspress themselves. I especially like the sexually explicit stuff. Yep, I'll always have a perverted eye for creative smut!
