Six days straight of working but I finally have two days off. Ugh. Haven't worked that many days in a row in a while. Usually it's just 'work a day, get a day off, work three days get two days off.' Much nicer. Why no, I'm not a lazy bastard.
Thursday night was the cat's tats (!?). My brother, Mike, came over. Then Pete & Jen. We all got hammered and played "Chef's Love Shack" for the Dreamcast. The game's not so fun one or two players, but get four and some alcohol and you'll have yourself a time. All Atari-like mini-games and ridiculous questions.
I wish I could say the rest of my week had been as fun, but all I did was work, read, and sleep. Mike stayed until Saturday and we played 2-player NHL97 and Alpha Centauri (a game that will suck more hours from your life than chain-smoking.)
I watched "The Graduate" which I hadn't seen in full before (great movie) and "Say Anything" which I had seen before but didn't remember very well (great movie). I finished David Sedaris' "Me Talk Pretty One Day" (great book) and have started Dave Eggers' "A Hearbreaking Work of Staggering Genius".
Tonight I shall drink a lot. Dan's been back since Tuesday. Pete & Jen are coming again tonight. We're going to drink a lot again and do some fun stuff. Or drink a lot again and just enjoy being drunk. Fun stuff is not neccessary when there's alcohol. Alcohol is fun all by itself. Oooh, I hope Jen brings her video camera again. I love playing around with that thing.
