I'm going to see my grandparents tomorrow for the first time in a year and a half. My brother and I are going to their new place in Amherst. They sold the home which was the only consistent place in my formative years (my parents moved us 16 or 17 times.)

So my Grandparents, uncle, brother, nephew and I are going to spend the day together. Hopefully it won't be too awkward. Typically, our entire extended family, including my parents, would get together on holidays. The extended family has had it up to here with all the shit my dad's put them through, though, so the regular family gatherings are becoming more stressful for my grandparents.

So it'll just be us tomorrow. Partially because my grandparents think I don't want to see my parents. I do want to, but I've had to work every holiday since I've been ready to - they probably think this was something I decided to do to avoid them. Maybe it is. I just don't think I want to see my parents for the first time in a year in a group setting. I have to talk to them alone first or it'd just be too awkward.

(sigh) These things carry too much weight.

On another note: I just got my RADIOHEAD TICKETS!!!
