Random Homework time!: Favourite Author and Book

Hey friends!
I wanted to write a blog, but couldn't think of what, so I picked a random one from the @bloghomework list!

My favourite Author is Dean Koontz, and my favourite book by him is Odd Thomas.

No I have not seen the movie.

Odd Thomas is about a short-order fry cook in a town called Pico Mundo California who has clairvoyant abilities. He is witting, charming, odd, and often forced into Supernatural (and real world) situations beyond his control. It's interesting, intense, and brilliantly written!

I started reading and watching Supernatural and horror themed novels and films when I was about 5. I loved watching the Scream channel, and attached myself to anything related to Vincent Price and Alfred Hitchcock. By the time my parents realized I had been exposed to horror, there was very little they were able to do about it. I was hooked, and it's become a lifelong obsession. Dean Koontz writes in a way that pulls you in and immerses you in the story. There's action, adventure, sadness, passion, humour, everything that makes a book worth reading! I have yet to be disappointed by one of his novels.

I also recommend The Taking, and pretty much everything ever written by Koontz.

Just saw your periscope appearance, and I have to say you're freakishly adorable - had to come check out your sets and blog, and then comment here because I'm in the midst of that book right now. I saw the movie first, and I had to check out the book, Dean Koontz is wonderful! (the movie is pretty decent, but movies based on books rarely manage to do the book justice).
