In other news!... @writeboy sent me a message yesterday saying he was going to be in Vancouver on Sunday and asked if I wanted to shoot a last minute set... I replied and said, "For sure!" (or something along those lines) when in reality I was thinking "FUCK YAAAHH!" Hahaha. I'm really excited! He's shot some fantastic sets, some of my favourites. Like the set that made the gorgeous @cupcake turn pink! (She's so. Damn Hot. Omg...)
We're going to be shooting a set in my apartment, which is allllways nice because it's so bright and lovely here!
So now I'm shooting TWO sets this month! Stoked!
My set "Feathers in the Wind" took less than 5 days to reach 1500 likes and 500 comments! I can't freaking believe it! I'm so stoked about the response, and I'm really hoping that this is the one that turns me pink!
I got my half sleeve FINISHED! yesterday! Well, it's not finished. Like, it IS, but I'm going to be adding so much more to the surrounding areas that I definitely don't consider it done. I know for sure that I'm getting the flower of life pattern continued through my shoulder and chest (I want it to melt into the metatron's cube chest piece I'm planning to get) So THIS portion of it is finished :) I will post some good photos of it later!
I'll be starting on my next piece in the next two months, which will be the memorial piece for Alex. I'm also getting a Edgar Allan Poe tattoo by a tattoo artist just over the border! He has been kind enough to offer to do the tattoo free of charge, which is AMAZING, and I'm so very happy. I'm getting him done in a traditional american style portrait, and I want it to be more quirky than realistic. I went to this play the other night called "Nevermore" in West Vancouver. It's an imagined and partly factual play about the life and mysterious death of Edgar Allan Poe, and it was a musical! Honestly, it deserves a bigger stage. It was SO well put together, the music and choreography was absolutely amazing. It was very creepy, and I would love to go see it again! If you're in the Vancouver area you should definitely check it out! So worth $25 per ticket.
