So today I made it my goal to find out where I can get my nude work printed so I can start putting them up in my etsy store.

I want to make copies of my instax so I can sell them, and I want to get prints done of other nude modelling that I've done or made myself.
Soooo I went on an adventure to talk to some print shops today after sending out some more pen pal mail and garters. I was really up front about what I wanted printed, what the purpose was, etc. I was faced with some really awkward people...

I guess I usually surround myself with open minded amazing-ness, so it was weird explaining the concept of "FINE ART NUDE PHOTOS" to people without them hearing "I WANT TO PRINT PORNOGRAPHIC PICTURES OF MY COOCH".

This one guy told me he needs to think about it for a few days, and would need to make sure he is protected. I asked him what he meant by that...Considering I am a consenting adult female, have signed model releases and documents stating such, and nudity isn't fucking illegal. Idk guys. I wasn't expecting to run in to problems getting these printed out! I've received a few suggestions from people regarding what I can do, or companies that I can look into that will make prints, so hopefully in the next couple of days I'll have that all worked out and I'll be able to get started. I guess I could just put digital scans up in my etsy store for people to download and print themselves? Or invest in a printer? Fuck man idk. I'll figure it out.

You can print 8x10's and 9x12's fairly cheaply at London Drugs or Walmart Photo centers. Costco is also the best option, but I'm guessing you're not near one or would need a membership. Technically you can hire anyone to print whatever you want, you can make copies of the images as you see fit and sell them/dispense them at your own discretion. A printer can't be held liable for what you upload and print on their website or using their digital services, so I'm not sure who you're speaking to about having prints made or if you're looking to print in some "special" way, but this is a ridiculous issue. I've been selling nude prints for 3 years and I've never had an issue. People who are making the prints just see your vagina. So what?

@chevvy Thank you for the advice! I'm in North Vancouver and went to three separate print shops. It's most likely the area I live in, and people are just being ridiculous, but I want to feel comfortable with the people I'm doing business with. I've found a great online shop that I'll be using. I personally have zero problem with people seeing my bits and pieces, and was very surprised by the reactions I got when I mentioned needing to print fine art nudes on a regular basis. "We uhh, don't really get requests for that sort of thing...I'll need to think about it....". Yikes!
