i had coffee with an old teacher today and that was nice. we spoke of westerns and zombies, McLuan and a lot of other things. he gave me an extra copy he had of understanding media. that was nice of him. despite his penchant for unnessesary eruditeness, hes a good read.
he gave me an idea for a name of a paper im working on about the cinema of transgression (not for anyone, just for fun). "Obscure Tradition: the continuing gasps of the cinema of trangression". simple to the point. i like it. whether ill have the attention span to finish it is another matter. death tripping is def. the best book on the subject, but nothing has been really talked about for awhile. did you know Nick Zedd has a show named ELECTRA ELF or put out the movie I was a Quality of Life Violation in 2002?
