Hellloooooooo friends !!! I have been kind of AWOL recently (forgive me) and so I thought i'd blog about what i've been doing these past few weeks/ months. I often take breaks from most social media to clear my head, especially when I finally have a positive way to spend my time. At the start of the summer I promised myself that this one wouldn't be the same as the last (sat on my couch all summer watching netflix and getting drunk), so I pushed myself to go on adventures every weekend for the past few weeks and it has proven to be the best summer i've had yet !
Oh and PS. I met someone !!
Her name is Veronica. I knew her through mutual friends but we officially met at Toronto Pride Parade this year and have literally been inseparable since.
Cute right? Yeah I think so too :))
Saw my favourite group Trouble & Daughter perform in Toronto!! Met them after the show and reminded them that they'd see my face at every show even when they make it big (which they will).
I met Lights again !! I got chosen as one of 20 people to be an extra in her music video that was just released. BY THE WAY ! If any of you liked Lights' music from my last post about her. Listen to this song ! It's her newest release from her upcoming album being released on the 23rd. I seriously think this is her best album yet so far. Give it a listen (if you love me, do it)
I took her away to an island a few hours away from Toronto and we bought rings from Walmart (obviously a size too big) and pretended we were newlyweds in a failed attempt at getting free champagne and any other free goodies. My golden idea didn't really work, but it was a cute little vacation.
