One of my absolute favourite past-times aside from kissing girls and watching one too many hours of Netflix is browsing through music discovery sites/apps to find new jams. I can listen to almost any genre of music and enjoy it but I always browse for specific songs. I browse for those songs you hear one time and automatically feel goosebumps because the lyrics and the composition of the song almost seems like it was written specifically for you. Those songs that get stuck in your head & you just want to play on repeat for days. It's been quite some time since I have found a mind-blowing song so I thought i'd share with you a group I hold dearly to my heart.
About this time last year I was dating a girl who introduced me to a local Toronto (well technically Missisauga but we're right next door) 3-piece folk group named "Trouble & Daughter". I instantly fell in love with everything about this band. The voices, the harmonies, the lyrics (it doesn't hurt that the lead singers are both extremely attractive). They don't have nearly as many fans as they deserve but I have high hopes that they will make it big sooner than later. They have demos recorded but I prefer the acoustic versions so i'm gonna post a few of my favourites. I hope you guys enjoy :)

A slower jam. This is actually the song I wakeup singing every single day. I still don't fully understand how that's possible. Maybe I sing in my sleep? Who knows !

Ah last one I promise ! All of their songs are my favourite so it's so difficult to choose a few but if you enjoy any of these songs you should REALLY get on their youtube and give them a listen.
