This UPDATE will be a positive note:
Thursday was a very nice day for me. I went to MASS EYE and EAR in Boston to bring animals for kids at the SPAULDING Rehabilatation Unit. The show was a mediocre show for me, but it turned to be more meaningful at the end. I had learned that the kid in crutches that didn't speak english very well was straight from Iraq. The kid was handed over to us because OUR troops sprayed his family's car with bullets at a night check station and killed both his parents and that a bullet had entered his spine causing massive trauma and he was learning to walk again. Yea, it is a tragic thing to happen to someone............................lose your family, get shot in the spine, be shipped to a country where you don't understand who, why, how or what the people around you have in store for you or how to cope with and go on with your life. What stuck with me was the fact that every animal I brought out to show him and the other kids, he had a HUGE smile on his face. That kid never showed any signs of remorse or sadness. Instead he just smiled and held the alligator but didn't want to touch his teeth. The next time you have problems in your life, remember this kid and realize your life isn't so bad!
Beside meeting this kid, I also had a chance to spend the rest of my day with two lovely ladies
You know who you are and I am happy we have met in this life
Lastly, despite the shit at work I go through and my boss's asshole personality at times. His wife had their 2nd child Fri. at 2 p.m. and weighed 9 lbs.! Despite my relationship profesionally with my boss. He has been in good spirits and his new son really washed away some negative energy.
So, everyone.................look forward to tomorrow; because you are never expected today!
