Some friends of mine and I went to the Beacon of Life Quiz Bowl, last night. We had a great time talking about geeky things and generally being silly. This was our second time we have competed. We did it last fall and came in 1 point out of a 3 way tie for second. We did not do nearly so well last night but we still had fun. After turning our brains to mush answering 10 rounds of trivia questions went to GT. I had not been there in ages. We sat around and drank until nearly closing time.
Anyway, if you like trivia or you just like having a good time the next quiz bowl is going to be on May 8th. They are a lot of fun and you get to help out a really good cause at the same time.
