I took my best to the airport this morning and sent her back to Canada. I wanted to just pack my shit and leave with her. This Texas heat is to much for this little canadian. I wasn't built for this humidity. No offense to you texans, but how do you deal with this shit??
This weekend was great. Drank to much maybe, but nothing to serious. My apt. is a wreck though and now Im to sleepy to clean. Having Laney here made me really miss home. I need to plan a trip to Van soon. I miss going down to Granville Island to the public market everyday the most. I always loved it down there with all the boats lined up, it was the best place to go relax. Nothing but mountains and blue sky in the distance...hmmmm ::comes back to reality::

What kind of mileage does it get? These big heavy metal cars generally sucked in that respect.
i have lived in tx since '82. how do i live with godawfull heat?
stay indoors during the days. if you want to get out during the mid day hours go to the mall or the gym. that's what i do. don't go to the pool during the day because you'll risk the chance of getting a bad sunburn and you don't want that.
if you do want to go outside wait 'till the sun goes down before you step out of your front door.
that's my advice.
