So I get a call at 3 this morning, I had just dragged my ass home from a friends and was about to crash in my bed. I see the area code 604 come up and I immediately know its someone calling from Vancouver so I pick up the phone to hear my mom frantic on the other end. She's calling from the hospital, and proceeds to tell me my dad has just had a major heart attack and I need to come home. This is never the kind of call you want to get when it's 3am and your miles away from home.....
I am going crazy right now, I don't know what to do. My dad was fine yesterday, this was a total shock. It just goes to show how you cannot take things for granted I guess. Needless to say, my dads in ICU and I have a 6 o'clock flight home. Leave me some love I will need it, and send get well thoughts to my dad, he's a hell of a guy and I love him very much.
