i noticed you listed surfing as things yer into ... thats kickass. ive been surfing my whole life. there are a few webcams you can check for conditions in galveston. galveston.com is the best usually. to get to galveston, hop 45 south and get comfy .... its about 45 minutes to an hour to get there. hope youve got a long board.
things to do?? well ... if youre into punk/hardcore there are places like fitzgeralds and the engine room and numbers for concerts. im not into the dance/club scene so i cant help you there. as far as cool bars to just chill and drink ... get on richmond and youre sure to find one that suits yer fancy.
again, welcome to houston.
p.s. princess bride is one of guiltiest pleasures. some people have comfort food. but when im dumped, all i need is a little fire swamp.
