My first week at the new job went quite well. I was able to manage 52.5 hours. I did bust my nose open though getting into a piece of equipment. Probably going to drop a few pounds doing this job as well. More the better. smile

I am still around all. Just starting to freak out regarding this house buying thing. Keep in mind, this is my first house. Process is pretty damn involved. Having a beer now, and tonight was just to sign the contract. I still have two weeks to go until closing!!

I am in 100% agreement with you on the subject of weddings. They are such an easy way to suck money from people. Because, of course all these poor, poor love birds are convinced that "this is the ONE" so of course nothing is too good or too expensive or even "too much". I could buy a nice house for me & my baby ducks with half of what the average wedding costs!
The sad part is (and I'm speaking for myself) is that the odds are against them, right from the start. frown

Anyway, I'm glad you had the opportunity to get away for a bit and that you had fun! That's what it's all about, anyway!
