Just got back from Virgina. Had a pretty good time. I feel weddings are always over extravant. During the whole service and reception, I just had dollar signs in my head. I did fairly well on my drinking, just beer, no liquor. Good thing I had my buddy take the bed next to the bathroom (he is a cronic puker.)

I am in 100% agreement with you on the subject of weddings. They are such an easy way to suck money from people. Because, of course all these poor, poor love birds are convinced that "this is the ONE" so of course nothing is too good or too expensive or even "too much". I could buy a nice house for me & my baby ducks with half of what the average wedding costs!
The sad part is (and I'm speaking for myself) is that the odds are against them, right from the start.
Anyway, I'm glad you had the opportunity to get away for a bit and that you had fun! That's what it's all about, anyway!
