Back to complicated. Went out with my most recent ex on Friday for my birthday (my birthday was two months ago). I didn't have any expectations for the evening. I figured a nice dinner, then I would be on my way. After all, she is the one that broke it off with me. I kept my distance, no physical contact, no flirting. As we are walking into the resturant, she takes my arm. I must admit, is was nice. After dinner, more of the same, she takes my hand as we are walking to the car. I then thank her for the dinner, then the kissing began. I can tell by the look in her eye that she had been waiting for that kiss from the day that we broke up.

We go to Walmart (my favorite place to make fun of rednecks), then back to her place. At this point, we continue what we started in the car. I told her while laying on the couch with her on top of me (clothed) that this was the last thing I expected to happen during the night. She agreed. I sorta wanted to get a reaction from her to see if she planned the outcome from the time she asked me out. She seemed truthful. I found out from a mutal friend that she was dating a guy who looked exactly like me. At this point, I felt I had to ask the status of the situation. She explained to me that they were just dating and that nothing came of it.

So I guess at this point in the journal, I am asking for advice. I am pretty sure what I am going to do: considering us dating, nothing more, then see what happens. She has already called me today, but I just need to keep things on pace. We were only together two months, but I can't help to think about the whole "if you care for someone, set them free" shit.

She claimed that she didn't have time to maintain a relationship. (bullshit)
