I'm so good at e-stalking it's scary. I discovered my old gf's LiveJournal page through cyber-snooping today. She's so smart and funny, I miss her (that's why I was looking for any news or trace of her on the internets). She's such a good writer and entertaining storyteller, her letters and emails were always kick-ass. She has like 3+ years of entries that she's accumulated, and she started right after I last saw her, so I'm pretty much caught up with her now and all curiosity about that's been sated.
It's funny, years ago she started a grad program in Scandinavian Studies. Her cousin (my friend who I met her through) said his family was baffled at why in god's name she would study something like that. She's not Scandinavian, never shown any interest in things Nordic, and her degree's in art history. But I knew. I said she was probably planning to go study overseas, marry a European, and move there. Reading her LJ, damn if I wasn't dead right, that was her plan all along. I can read that girl like a book
Aside from a pretty harrowing entry about how she was nearly raped in Istanbul (she fought the rapist off, thank god) she seems to be doing great.
