For New Year's I'm making the mother of all bottle rockets. I'm filling a length of 1.5" PVC pipe with black powder, attaching a nozzle made from water clay, and stabilizing it with a 3/8" diameter wood dowl.
There's no exploding charge, just a big ass rocket that hopefully wont explode on ignition. I need to grow up
