Fixed exhaust on car, took it in to be IM/d so I can renew the registration. It failed miserably, and there are yet more repairs to make on it.
My friend's going to be pissed. I'm buying one of his cars, but I need the money from selling this car. I cant sell it without an IM. And tomorrow I get the PFD check. I...

Yay! I was checking out movies to see because I hadn't seen one since Terminator 3. I was checking the listings when I was pleasantly shocked. Step into Liquid is playing in Anchor-town! Considering hardly anyone here surfs, that amazed me. I've been dying to see this movie for about a year after seeing the trailer at Apple.com's movie trailer site. I'm going to catch...

i feel kind of lame for posting Snoop's number after reverse-looking it up on the internet. nevermind.
mindmeld23:
i checked on someone's hydrocodone prescription sheet regarding the hearing problems~ that guy must have been popping them like candy, as it is one of the least common effects and usually reverts back to normal after discontinuing use.

sure man .. i, all by myself * totally* made up all that stuff about the CIA releasing mind control documents via the freedom of information act~ all 18 thousand pages on projects since the 50's. (not)
read it, it is actually quite interesting.
unless, of course, you don't believe in government documents. in that case i would have no idea where you get your information.

i see you're into belucci... have you seen milena or irreversible? the second is out of control and graphic. i don't want to see it again though it was not a bad movie.

Rented a pretty interesting movie tonight, The Shape of Things. Interesting in that it talks about what art is, which is kind of a strange thing to marry to a movie about relationships and about whether you can change someone.....or whether you should even try.

Reuben accomplished. Just finished off my take-out Reuben sandwich. I love those things, best sandwich in the world. Leaves cold sandwiches in the dust, even leftover turkey, stuffing and cranberry sandwiches on French bread, (my runner-up).
Boring Friday night, doing the internet and drinking. I'd rather be playing cards, but I dont really have much to spend this week.

because you have a problem linking it all up in your own head, does not mean it isn't the case.
the site you are talking about is probably one of hundreds talking about the same things~ because they are talking about facts.

So what was I talking about last? My hair? Got a haircut, looks fine. Better than it was.
Decided to start wearing my pistol around, just because I can. Alaska changed its concealed weapons laws a few months ago, and the law was sposored by the DEMOCRATS!
And guess what? No shootouts from road rage, no blood spilt over parking spaces. That sort of rhetoric...

hey, thanks for contributing an educated, and balanced opinion on the 'recall' thread. supporters of the whole 'stolen' election ideology are like freakin fanatics, like it was born of an x-files episode or something.
stockula:
They are very angry folks, those Democrats. So bitter.
As I get older, the hair on the top and front of my head is growing slower that the hair on the sides and back. This has resulted in the natural development of a...a....mullet!
Usually use electric clippers to just shear my hair, but I let it grow long over the summer and now I've got a mullet
I am starting to look ridiculous.

Mullet is history.
My friend kind of cheesed me off today. We were talking, and he mentions that Sonia, a very beautiful, fit, and sexy (his sister's best friend) keeps asking him out and coming on to him.
Everybody wants this chick...except Erik. She "irritates" him. Why? Because she talks about his father, and asks questions like "Did you know there is a full moon tonight?"

maybe he's "sensitive"
stockula:
He's the poster child for sensitivity. I'm going to call the board of the National Council on Masculinity and demand his membership is revoked.

Painted my dad's house yesterday. It hadn't been painted in the 23+ years he's owned it, was a gross pea-green color everyone hated. Me and my friend Erik got around to painting it, took 4 hours of prep work on Sunday and 5 hours of spraying/cleanup on Monday. Now it's a light peach color, the color Crayola used to call "flesh" colored.

Hey there, I have a quick Alaskan politics question for you (sparked by the legalization discussion). There was an IRV measure on the ballot there last year. Can you tell me about the public perception of that measure?

Arrrrgh. Got a letter from the university that I need 3 more credits to graduate. Incomplete history course. However, I know that if I complete the course, I will have overrun my timeallowed to complete a degree.

I hope you don't mean the French, Foreign, type of Legion.
Hope you did your research, bro. I have a couple of buddies that went that route, and... well... it's not my style to talk anyone out of anything so screw it. Have fun, and learn the language if we're on the same page. It will save you tons of bruises.

I wouldn't have considered it if I wasn't in deep serious shit. And no offense bro, but you're in the Air Force. While getting beaten up and pushed hard might seem too harsh, I wouldn't want gender-normed training.

Cars suck when they don't work and I hate working on them.
Your mate Paul , does he work at North Slope on the oil stuff,
who does he work for. I'm with BP in the North Sea.
IM= Emissions inspection. Every 2 years you have to pay a tax on owning your car, if you want to drive it on the streets legally. If you live in the city and have an old car, you have to pass a pollution inspection before they let you pay your tax and drive legally. It's about $200.
PFD= Permanent Fund Dividend. The profits from Alaska's $24 billion in oil money investments are distributed equally among the 600,000 residents each year. This year, it's $1.100. I receive it today.
Yeah, Paul works for BP as a cook at their main camp on the North Slope. I have worked for oil service companies like Halliburton and Schlumberger, doing both construction of their facilities and operating their equipment up on the North Slope, but never for the oil companies themselves..
