I should probably clarify.
So, today was Bobby's last day before leaving for basic. I sent my car in for a routine oil change and found out that I need to have the exhaust completely rebuilt. My parents are out of town. I don't know anyone. I wont be able to see Bobby before he ships out. I realize that he's only going to be gone for two months, but still. I really wanted to be able to wave goodbye as the bus pulled away.
oh well.

sometimes it just helps to design a task list of interesting things to occupy your time until he gets back.
two months is not a long time, but... if it's enough to drive you crazy, you could learn a skill or talent, perhaps worthy of diplay and 'ta-da', when he returns.
i need an oil change too and am a little worried that something else may need work.... blah.
