Poem titled: The Truth Died Yesterday

The children are covered
with scabs upon scabs.
But where's the moms and dads?

They're hiding in the closets
where they kicked out the faggots.
Now they're no better
than the flies or the maggots
that nibble at their souls.
Their hearts are empty holes.

Hypocrites-
that is what they are.
False lights within the dark.

They're sitting behind desks,
in planes, and in pews
pointing their fingers
at the blacks and the jews
when they can't even see
they don't live by their own creed.

They bear their thoughts,
declaring right from wrong.
Right won't be found at home.

It can't be found in their words
nor within their minds.
The truth died yesterday
and left their open eyes
to be buried in the ground.
Never to be found.

And the children are still covered
with scabs upon scabs.
So fuck the moms and dads
who hide in the closets
never to be found.
