ugh! two days of hell.
tuber finally had to have ear surgery.
they couldn't anesthetize her because of her heart condition, so they did it while she was awake 
but pumped her up with morphine instead. i hope she couldn't tell what was going on. poor thing. so she came home all bandaged up and was whimpery all last night.
