I had dinner with my lil sis tonight in San Mateo. We met up at a yummy taqueria on 4th/B St. (Ya gotta go!!!) She is such a doll. It seems that she is quite distressed over the fact that she set up her best friend (a boy) with one of her girlfriends. Apparently, they've taken quite a liking to one another. And she is pissed! He has no time for her now, she says. Did I mention she has a boyfriend? On and on she went....they had the nerve to hold hands in front of her. She asked me, can I believe that hey kissed on the 2nd date? I'm like, yeah, and? Then again, she didn't sleep with her boyfriend for like 2 years. I gotta give that guy some credit. Maybe that's why I like him. She keeps telling me that she doesn't see a future with him, though. I think my little baby is in love with someone else. She said, her friend only likes tall modely type a girls. I told her, that is whacked; you're modely, just short. Why do people search and search out only those that fit their preconceived notion of the perfect mate? I don't get that shit...

I guess I shouldn't preach to the choir. Looking back at where I was @ 24. Planning a wedding but couldn't find the guts to mail the invitations. I guess one of these days I'll get around to selling the ol' ring on ebay. I'm so glad I'm not 24 anymore!!!

Since we are on the topic of summery love...I have some stuff to get you all dreamy but I'm gonna hit save so I don't lose the details of tonight's saga....
