My last journal entry had 102 comments! *giggle* THANK YOU EVERYONE from the bottom of my ♥ and 102's heavenly 
♥ for all of your encouragement and support.
It was really hard to leave Colorado. Really hard.
102 was one reason.
Here's another:
Maya- a beautiful chocolate lab that i got to babysit for a week. After 102 passed away brenda & becki- close family friends that lived in denver came to fort collins and got me. Maya always came and found me when i was sad. We all went hiking one afternoon right outside of Lyons CO:
It was interesting to be around a "real" dog. I think 102 thought she was a person.
Maya loves water and loves to jump. Jump in rivers and over fences into neighbors' backyards. She was quite a handful and kept me quite busy. But it was good therapy.
And... of course i rewarded her bad behavior with ice cream.
102 packed alot of her favorite Frosty Paws ice cream for our trip to Colorado...
...i'm sure in heaven 102 can have ice cream whenever she wants.. so i gave the leftover cups to Maya. I mentioned she liked water... correct... when i was leaving...she saw me pack my bags in my car... and then i jumped in the shower quick. First she stuck her head in just watching me.. and then she JUMPED in with me! yes. in the shower!
It's hard being home without 102... but i'm taking care of myself.
I hung out with little miss malia yesterday and colored with her.
4 year olds have a great outlook on life. We had a great little chat. then i went over to tomahto's to bond with her kitty Shadow. They are moving in with me until she finds a permanent place. That will be nice.
102's Farewell Party is Sunday Nov 13th! Mark it on your calenders! It's going to be a grand affair. You're all invited. More details to come......

you dont haveto get rootbeer for me. I dont really drink soda. I was just saying that you should get a nonalcoholic keg. I mean, its a memorial party, you dont want people drunk all over the place. you know?
