WHO LOVES PIGGYS! WE DO!! Now that 102 is part
y [she has a pig tissue heart valve] her halloween costume is clearly decided upon!

102 got through the surgery!! she had major obstacles with low blood pressure- then later with irregular heart beat which is scary as it can lead to sudden cardiac arrest. but- the surgeon just called to report that her heart beat is regular 60-70% of the time which is good! she's not 100% out of the woods but this is certainly good news! i got to see her after she stablized slightly. she was highly sedated and not conscious but when i tickled her paws and said 'hi 102.. i love you' she kept fluttering her eyes.. trying to wake up. this sent the surgical staff all goo-goo-ga-ga saying how she responded to my voice. [duh of course! i'm her mommy! ]

between being @ the hospital since 7AM; my parents JUST telling me tonight that my aunt was admitted to the hospital in mpls with heart issues TWO days ago; and my best friend [in vegas] hubby's MRI results coming back with a possible brain aneurysm... i am fried - medical fucking overload.
