Well as all of you head off to a weekend of fun and relaxation, so starts my journey into 80 hours of surgery hell.
Wouldnt be so bad but i spend 13 hours assisting yesterday, with no break. It was so sad. we had this kid who split 3 fingers open and had to repair 7 tendons. he will never have normal hand function again and is gonna be totally scarred. Sad because hands can be so expressive and communicative and he will loose some of that. But the worst case yesterday was a 400+ pound patiend that had a huge abdomenal defect and abscess. took 5 hours to fix her. hopefully she will do ok.

meaning- i got really really really really drunk and took a nap in wet muddy grass. then a nap on a dirty dirty porch. then i got grease on it from a friends truck. rust spots from i dont know where. ugh.
