yeah, sorry i've been a bit out of it this (reading - long) weekend, if you care what i've been doing then have a lookie.
the program reads in a wav file, computes time domain (sinusoidal wave thingy), does a fast fourier transform on it, and then uses the data to guess the genre. it is about 90% done now. whee!
this weekends hot topic : matrix revolutions. well, i saw it twice on friday. do i think it was good? well, i'd probably be quite biased in saying yes (i wasnt exactly sober EITHER time i went). personally i'll just take the whole series as a whole, rather than splice it into individual pieces. and, as a whole, it fucking ruled. so there.
