Semester ended yesterday biggrin I am happy. It was a tough go. Two jobs, school full time... no thanks.

I got a position with Upward Bound, Program Assistant, and I quit the bus route. That means next semester I will have the same amount of money, but more time to write and sleep. That should help grades and everything else....

I have been recruited by students...

ok, so I may have caught my second wind... or something.

I finished one big paper, just knocked out a second one, and I am about 1/3 or more through my final project. Then finals week.

OH, and to drop the stress I am going to produce my book after the semester, and just do a quick home made one for the final. Talked to...

One big project down! Three to go, one is my book, so we know I will do that easily.

I planned the last All School session for Upward Bound. Those nights are when we have all the schools that we teach in one building. It gets rough. And the old guard there like to have four seperate activities going on in one room, and then...

I pulled my transcript last night, and looked at my degree plans. I am like 10 classes away, of those 10 I have registered for four next semester. It may be a little less because I may see if some of the classes will substitute for requirments to fill both degrees. And one of the 10 classes needed isnt really a class, but is my...

The truth is I know what is going on, but I am too chicken shit to do anything about it.

If you decide to tour S. America, let me know. That is a trip I would die to take.

We could call it the "Bicycle Diaries" then wind up dead in the Bolivian jungle, after being hunted by CIA trained guerillas.

I believe in love at first sight. I think it is something that happens only once in your life.

Even though I write, and read, I could never seem how to explain what that feeling was. Then I dropped it at the end of a poem, where I have a line that says a kiss would ignite "300 years of love".

When I saw her...

It's a beautiful Easter day here. The wind is at a minimum, the temp is good, and we have a beautiful heavy snow falling.

I am sitting here trying to finally compose my inspired but difficult to write love poem about dung beetles, Scarabeaus sacer to be exact. Well, that is if the mating habits match my love poem, if not, I will switch to...

I finally received the three books of poetry I ordered. Two by Neruda, "Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair", and "The Book of Questions" Plus the one by Yehuda Amichai, "Poems of Jerusalem and Love Poems". Sweet. Two of the three have the orignal language on one side, the English translation on the other.

My poetry I think has improved by leaps and...

I am registered for next semester. Chaucer, Contemporary Drama, The Modern Novel, and Advanced Creative Writing Fiction are my class line up so far. I am going to see if I can do an independent study on Modern Poetry and drop the Drama. That poetry class would fill baskets for both my degrees, where Drama only does for my English degree.

Oh, and my prof...

I need to figure out how to keep up today's pace for the rest of the week. I finished one paper, started the research on the other, finished the initial draft of the long poem, typed up some homework, in the middle of another assignment, managed to attend Mass, and do laundry and hang out with my girls. WOW.

I need to keep this up...
