good news today! PALABRA magazine, a literary journal for Hispanic, Latino, Chicano writers accepted my flash fiction piece, "Benito Dances", for their issue #6 coming out this year

and it's on. a week and a half of regular classes. then finals. so much to do. ugh.

and i need to do well, not matter how tired i am at the end of it... i want out with good grades...

What a crazy stretch this has been. On Thursday I went to the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) conference in Denver. It was bad ass. I listened to some really good panels, got to hear Alberto Rios and Sherman Alexie and so many more...
