went to a poetry reading in Long Beach last night for Write Bloody Publishing. There was a few poets, a live band. my friend, Elaina Ellis, kicked ass (look her up on YouTube) as did Brendan Constantine (i just met him).

there was also this band from Boston that was great, Gracious Calamity. they were so damn good.

it was a cool event, held as a speak easy, and with food trucks outside...
