What a crazy stretch this has been. On Thursday I went to the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) conference in Denver. It was bad ass. I listened to some really good panels, got to hear Alberto Rios and Sherman Alexie and so many more...
There was a panel on Latina writers and one on translating contemporary South American poets, those just rocked.
Before I left I got a phone call from Antioch in L.A. accepting me for their MFA program
Tomorrow and Wednesday I teach, and Tuesday night is my senior reading...
Saturday is a jiu-jitsu competition in Denver, My twelve year old is competing, I cant due to a possible fractured rib.
