I have a hole in my thumb nail, had to drill it out to let some of the blood flow to relieve the pressure. Yep, I smashed it and it was all purple and was throbbing. As soon as we did that, not so bad.

Stinky, I am constantly amazed at the ways people can find to be cruel. That area is a tough area because the white population is new out there, but they are the ones with the power. I grew up in southern NM and lived in northern NM for 4 years; my experience was that everybody hates everybody. And yet... I am a big fan of Guernica. And I too have been contemplating a big post about racism and prejudice but I can't seem to find the right tack on it. I mean we live in a country that just elected it's first non-WASP male President but I still hear people say that they don't go into "that part of town" because of "those type of people" and I can't make heads or tails of it.
