UGH is right. I empathize with you on so many fronts. I have people in my life that are like your cousin, big words and bravado. I really pretty firmly believe that still waters run very deep.
As for the strong woman... have you ever heard Jens Lekman? He has this song called "Someone to share my life with". I don't know what your musical tastes are, but he is of the Nick Drake ilk. There is nothing worse than being in a relationship based around care taking.

I am lost without a bicycle. Money was tight this summer, so I did not finish the two classic Schwinn bikes I am building. One will be my commuter, the other my trainer. So I have been riding my Specialized mountain bike for everything. I broke a pedal on Friday.

I have to write two papers, one on the Spanish Civil War in Film and one Vampires, Aztec Mummies, and Wrestling Women. Both of these were my summer workshops. They were great classes because the prof was fantastic.
I am starting with the Spanish Civil War and tying the class with what I know of Pablo Neruda's politics.

if you read here poems they are really male chauvinist (? . i 'm trying to say the word "machista" that's what the dictionray says =/ . i have no clue if it'll make sense). the metaphores he uses always portrait that women are beautiful just if they don't talk, don't have an opinion, and are really no important at all.
i have no idea if i'm making any sense
what i'm trying to say is that i don't think that verse about how awsome it is when woman don't talk should be consider romantic.

Damn, I went to go for a bike ride and I had a flat rear tire. I pulled it apart, found the puncture, was going to fix it but realized I dont have any patches I will to go the shop tomorrow and get a new tube, and patches. The new tube will go in, and I will patch this one as a spare.... Sucks....

Cute dog by the way. I love the Alamosa area for pets. So much space for them.
