It has taken a really long time but I have come to terms with my life. The good, the bad and the ugly.
Things with my mother I have closed the door with the resolution no matter how hard I try, she is only going to hurt me. She is now a foot note in time, a face in the crowd.
The bad, my dearest friends are so far away. One in NC and the other in CA and both are terrified to fly so we have to live on letters and e-mails.
The ugly, the small cyst on my neck will be removed tomorrow. Nothing major, just a build up of scar tissuse gone bad. No health alerts people. I feel amazing.
The good and great... I am going back to work on Monday 6/26 and I have the best husband in the world who has supported me on this journey.
