This guy I work with is gonna be on Oprah today! I'm not sure what the topic is, but his wife gets to ask Oprah a "personal" question. They're taping it today, so the actual show won't air until next week. I won't be there in person, but I will definately be there in spirit. Rock on Oprah!

Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child have written some of my favorite thrillers. They've gotten a little formulaic lately, but The Relic (which was turned into an awful movie) is really, really good. Riptide and The Ice Limit are both great too, but start with the Relic.
