today is my step grandmothers birthday. I bought her a plant that is all pretty. Im not that great at buying gifts for people because i want to get somethign they really like.. so i spend hours searching, Getting stressed and worried. Usually I find something at least decent.. but some people are harder to buy for than others, you know?
Anyway...
I went to look at a car yesterday.
I called the dude and asked where it was, the condition and how it ran. He got at snappy with me and told me the car was AS IS and that the condition and any problems.. would be my own responsibility. Hes like "listen, a girl like you can't just get in teh car and drive it off the lot, you know!! ITs got to have new fluids and a new battery and get a tune up!! Its only 1000 for a reason!!!!" Like I know nothing about cars! All I wanted to know if any vital pieces are broken.. say the transmission or the engine! So I was like "sheesh!" Went over to look at it anyway.. and the thing looks in good condition, no visable rust, damage or problems. its 77,000 miles, an 88 madza wagon. Looked at the fluids, they looked murky.. but the car's been sitting for half a year at least. so I look around inside.. no keys. I call my Step dad and ask him to come down and check otu the car.. he tells me to call the owner and see if i can get the keys. I call the owner and he gets pissy again!! He starts saying "you don't need the keys, It will start fine!" And Im like "wellm, you said it was as is, so I think it would be wise to at least have my step dad take a quick peek and start it up and see how she runs" And hes like " listen! I told you it runs fine!" (no he didn't! he said it was 1000$ for a reason and it was my responsibility!) Then he's like "This is a really nice car in practicly perfect condition and Ive had a lot of offers for way more than 1000, you know! and I don't have time for your bothering me!!" So I was so angry. Instead of flipping out I jsut said, "well thanks for your time" and hung up. What a prick huh? So.. I mean, he changed his story.. and Im not sure what kinda of condition it was in. Outside looked good.. but if you can't start a car, what good is looking at it? How many of you have ever bought a car withought startign it first?

Just called my mom and left the dog barking and howling as a message. She called back and said she saved it because it was so cute. haha.. mom's are funny.

Me? The usual. Traveling, racing, training, hoping Bailey doesn't die. You know, normal stuff...
