I lost an old friend this week...one that I hadn't spoke to in a long while...
Her name was Nicole.
Our friendship went back years, and spanned five states in total.
We lost touch because of some stupid misunderstandings (on my part)
She was the first person I ever wrote a role for in my films.
Her body gave out to Colon Cancer, and I didn't even know she was sick.
Life is strange, and sneaks up on you to let you know that you need to take NOTHING for granted... I won't be able to patch things up with Nicole, but I'll do everything I can not to let something like that happen again...
