* Is it wrong to love Anderson Cooper so much? Cause if it is, I'm not so sure I wanna be right...
* Riding the train today and the conductor comes on and he's got a thick German accent. Now, that really shouldn't be so funny...but dammit it was. And I laughed. Outloud. "Dis is Seeecond Hevenue. Brookleen Boond Treen. Stand cleer of closing door."
* I'm always disapointed when I open a new DVD and find an ad for another DVD instead of the Chapter Stops. I really hate it. Sometimes I'll then throw the DVD as hard as I can in the nearest direction of a tourist. Then wave. And go pick up the disc and go home.
* Speaking of ads for new movies, "Like Mike 2???!!!" Honestly, is there a built in audience out there for a "Like Mike" franchise? What happened to the good 'ol days of quality family films, such as "The Never Ending Story," "The Princess Bride," or "Showgirls?" Sure, "Story" had two wildly uneven sequels and a crappy HBO cartoon, but at least the original was good.
* And again with a speaking of, "Fast and Furious 3: Tokyo Drift?" Seriously? And Bow Wow's in it? What??
* Can someone please kick Robin Williams in the nuts? Please?? For the love of Monotony, when will he make a good movie again? Ebert and Roeper nailed it this week when they began to review "National Lampoon's Vacation" and then realized, oh wait, this film is called, "RV."
* Is it possible that anyone...ANYONE, watches "According to Jim?" Or does he just simply have a pact with the devil?
I really DO sit around and think about these things. Usually on the subway, but still...
Alexsandria came into my fair city and we hung, along with Mle, NewYorkMatt, and myself (that would be youdidntkissme...hehe, I just linked myself)
She's amazingly cool, so stop by and tell her hi! Plus, her birthday is the following day after mine, so that's pretty rock star.
NewYorkMatt took a GREAT pic of a Puppy in the park kissing me, so hopefully he'll send it and I'll make it my profile pic (NOT SO SUBTLE HINT...). I had "doggie" written originally up there instead of "Puppy." Does that make me a bit of a girl or a bit of a dork. Maybe a little bit of both.
Also, if you're a New Yawkaa, my show, "MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING" opens on Sunday, so come see me! It's a cool blackbox theatre, and we're doing it in the original language, obviously, but updating it to current day. It should be fun. I'm Borachio. Here's ticket sales. Enjoy.
