There is a signed contract for the building. The $10,000 deposit check did not bounce. Settlement is in 60 days, with 30 days for environmental and due diligence. No contract contingencies otherwise, for financing, zoning or anything else.


This might actually work. By December 24th, I will hopefully be homeless, but but that's good news.

It's a weird thing to wish for, eh?

I have the opportunity to go to Cuba for a while, before the administration's massive crackdown takes effect in December. I really really want to go, but it's a (relatively) huge amount of money that I don't have and cannot afford.

This may be the only shot of going there for 10 years or more, depending on how long Castro lives and our idiot administration.

The debt would still be a problem.
