a great record got reissued here in the states called nouvelle vague - "s/t".
it's a lounge-jazz styled acoustic band, with a beautiful female lead vocal, that put out covers of 80's punk/new wave songs by bands like the cure, joy division, xtc, clash, dead kennedys, modern english etc. really nice takes on some of my favorite songs from that era of music.
gonna go see a film with the Paz tonight, one of the three most likely...sideways, the aviator or meet the fockers. already saw the life aquatic but i could watch that a couple more times probably.
