Edit to say: Just had a phone call to say my Sunday League Football team has been promoted!!!!!!! Drink!

Looks like the next holiday has been decided for me....Vegas here I come!

Thankfully it looks as though the job market is beginning to improve, had a few phone calls this week about prospective job opportunities.

Just paid my deposit for the next Portugal drink-a-thon! Unfortunatley got to wait until October before we all fly out
Have to go away somewhere else before then, wouldn't mind a few days in the US, now that it's a bit cheaper to get there. Already got in mind a couple of venues

Had a good time at the wedding on Friday. Weather was nice and it was a nice ceremony.

Yesterday was spent in Birmingham watching my beloved Liverpool win 3-0

Today was a much needed rest day after two full days of alcoholic abuse

Another long weekend of relaxation and plenty of socialising ahead. Can't really be bothered going anywhere special, it'll all be packed anyway.

Went to a Sportsmans Dinner on Monday night. Speaker was an ex-football referee. Never realised how funny they could be!

Well it was a mixed bag this weekend. Great gig on Friday night (The Wildhearts). Really were on top form. Followed by the pleasant company of a young lady.
On the down side, football team lost our semi-final on Sunday morning. Season over ends in disappointment, just missing out on cup and league success.
