Well here we are. The final week before the Christmas shenanigans.

This week already had two Christmas parties. An ex-work re-union dinner which was very nice, and our football club Christmas do which was riotus!, lol

Actually managed to get most of the Christmas shopping done already too! And it's still 5 days to go. Who say's us blokes are useless at it

Well after the events of last week, went to my first post-Dimebag concert on Friday. Fear Factory at the Manchester Academy. It was a strange gig really, the band played great. Was a little disappointed with the show length. What was different was the crowd chanting in between each song. Not one call for the headline act, every chant was "Dimebag". Will be sorely missed....

Started new job today. Working at a new company, but working with people that all worked together 10 years ago for a different company. I can tell you, it's like the last 10 years never happened! Everything just felt so comfortable and friendly. Can see this being a good job.

Went to see Helmet last night. Put on a great gig, no gimmicks or frills, just great riffing music. Frank Bello think's he's still in Anthrax judging by his stage presence though, and what a drummer John Tempesta is, don't think I've seen a drummer hit the drums as hard for a long time.

Well finally quite my current job today. Start my new job on Monday, back into real engineering again. It can't come soon enough!!!

Machine Head were just fantastic once again!!!!

A sold out Manchester Academy, witnessed another awesome gig from the boys. After a few songs off the latest CD, up popped in the set Davidian. They then proceeded to play Burn My Eyes in it's entirety! Gigs just don't get much better.

Well Motorhead were their usual storming self last night! 90 minutes of top quality rock and roll! And what a surprise they through in too!!! First song on the encore was an acoustic blues number with Lemmy on harmonica!!! Soon led to a bombastic Ace of Spades.
