Well it seems to be improving on the job market front. I've had a few phone calls this week already. It seem's word has got around that the best design engineer is available again.

Be nice to pick up a nice 6 month contract, get me thro to Christmas.

Well can't really say it was a successful trip to the races yesterday, well as far as the betting went anyway

Managed to scrap one each-way second place, just about got my stake back!

Had more success with a delightful young filly from Halifax

It's been an emotional day.

Last night my old trustful and dear friend, Compaq laptop, died a death. Finally gave up it's will to live anymore. After much swearing and shouting I finally gave up on it.

Went out today and bought it's replacement, a younger, sleekier model. Compaq who?

And tomorrow's Friday too, what a great end to the week.

God, this week is dragging. I'm so bored at work, really need to find something more interesting. Although I'm off out tomorrow on site, so that'll be different.

Well didn't do anything special this weekend, just out and about in the local bars

Think I need a new challenge. Maybe get a job away from here for a bit and experience somewhere new for the summer.
