Got a letter today which confirms just how much of a bastard the taxman is!
Over the last couple of months I've paid the Inland Revenue about 3000. Now I get another demanding letter for 150, giving me 7 days to pay or else. Letter dated 4th August, arrives today the 11th. Bang goes the 7 days. Thanks for the time lads!

Aargh! Take this hot weather away from me! It's far too hot and humid

Didn't get up to much this weekend, Sunday league team had the first friendly of the pre-season, which we duly won 3-1. Could be a good season ahead I hope.

So did anyone else do anything exciting?

So that's the first week of the new job over. Think I'll go back again next week

And another thing, where's all this sun come from! Can only mean one thing....the football season has started Joy and heartache guaranteed for the next 9 months.

New job's going OK. Just jumped right back in the swing of things. It's sometimes good to go back to a place you've been before. Don't have all the aprehension and nerves about meeting new work mates. Just realise how annoying some of them were 1st time round

Hope the week's started brightly for everyone

Decent weekend, had a good Friday night out on the town. Saturday went to Stoke for the SG meet. Had the chance to meet and speak to some great members. Wasn't a bad night. Also won the top prize in the raffle.......a toilet seat

Oh no! What have I done?!?! Just booked flights and hotel for the big PSW Las Vegas meet, that's what!! What a trip this is going to be. Have to use the olde English charm and deportment again I suppose.

On top on this there's the Stoke meet on Saturday to look forward to. It's all just one big ball of fun

Well I've got a new job. Start back in the telecoms industry again next week. Goodbye boring railway shit! Back to frying brain cells
A good start to the week I think. How's yours?

Wedding do was quite good really. Met up with some old work mates I'd not seen for a couple of years. Nice to chat and do a bit of networking for future reference.
Oh well, back to the daily slog tomorrow, these weekends don't last long.

Off to my mate's wedding and for once the forecast is for sunny weather, so that should be good. Wonder what the bridesmaids will be like
